Projector stand - Feb 2024
Inverted stairs stand made of wood for lifting my projector and enabling it to be on a small shelf.
DESCRIPTION
I bought a projector for my bedroom; I wanted to add it to the room in order to be able to watch movies from my bed.
The thing is, I already had a shelf behind my bedframe, but it was too small and too low to accommodate the device.
As I did not want to make additional holes in the wall, nor did I want to add a shelf above the bed, I decided to make some kind of adapter stand.
This is the reason I came up with this solution of making a simple “inverted stairs” stand out of scrap wood I had lying around.
I used my go-to CAD software to design the assembly, then I used the CNC mill and a hacksaw to make the actual parts.
Parts are made from scrap pine I found on the streets and 8mm threaded rod I had laying around.
