I kinda like the original idea

The other day, I saw these lamp shades and thought that they looked really cool.

Decomposing the lamp is actually pretty easy, it seems to just be a laser cut wooden structure painted and some wool for additional color.
I dig the looks of it
SO, there I went and shamelessly copied the design.
My take on this design

Now, the structure was made, I just had to find the time to thread the wire and think about the pattern.
Also, there is a flaw in the current design, since my version is a lot smaller than the original, I will not be able to change the bulb without unthreading. This is embarrassingly stupid but I did not think about it prior to cutting the parts.
I decided to not care about the design error and make 3 more, I also changed the bulbs and made a holder using the CNC.
